WHAT THIS PUBLICATION IS

Relazioni Montez documents the growth of Atelier Montez as a space for contemporary art production, experimentation and public engagement, born from a process of participatory urban regeneration and developed through an interdisciplinary approach.

Over the years, Atelier Montez has built a wide international network of artists, curators, researchers and cultural institutions, generating a long-term collaborative ecosystem that continues to evolve through new projects, partnerships and digital infrastructures.

This new edition expands the project’s digital dimension, highlighting the evolution of Montez’s research toward digital archiving, online visibility, and new forms of cultural circulation connected to ARTup (https://artup.company/ ), the innovative startup and spin-off of Atelier Montez that develops a decentralized phygital ecosystem for the contemporary art market. Through AI, blockchain, and IoT technologies, it enables the digital registration, certification, and circulation of physical and digital artworks, supporting new models of valuation, exchange, and access at an international level.
