For the sixth appointment of the “focus on” review,
Atelier Montez pays homage to the Master of Viennese Actionism
Hermann Nitsch (1938-2022)
with a focus on a selection of artworks by Hermann Nitsch in “exhibition within the exhibition”.
The curator Gio Montez presents to the public some drawings from the series “scribbles” [Kritzelzeichnungen] and some unpublished artworks signed by Hermann Nitsch between 2010 and 2022 that tell the relationship of the curator Gio Montez with the Master, Together with the public the curator propose a look at the current state of the art movement called “Viennese Actionism” and the developments that this revolutionary movement has generated for several generations.
Vernissage: Friday 29 April 2022 at 6 p.m, vin d’honneur.
The exhibition of scribbles is accompanied by the music composed by Maestro Hermann Nitsch, from the primordial noise to the harmony of the spheres.
The artistic coefficient of Hermann Nitsch will be certified through the experimental software artcoefficient.com ( 1.2) powered by the main sponsor ARTup.
The works on display will be available for pre-sale at Atelier Montez during the Friday event and in the temporary shop of Atelier Montez for 5 days starting from the following Monday.
